Terms & Conditions for Wags & Whiskers of the Wiregrass

Welcome to Wags & Whiskers of the Wiregrass ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, www.wagsnwhiskersofthewiregrass.com, and the purchase and use of all pet care services offered by us, including but not limited to dog boarding, doggy daycare, grooming, and spa services ("Services").

By accessing or using our Website and Services, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the Website and our Services and you must discontinue use immediately.


2. Services and Booking



A. Eligibility and Pet Requirements


  • All pets accepted for Services must meet our current health, age, temperament, and vaccination requirements, as specified in our service contract or on our intake forms. Proof of current vaccinations (e.g., Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP) is mandatory.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or require the immediate removal of any pet that displays aggressive behavior, illness, or does not meet our safety standards.


B. Reservations and Cancellations


  • All service reservations must be made through our official channels, including our Customer Portal or by contacting the facility directly.

  • Cancellation and No-Show Policy: Specific cancellation policies (including deadlines and potential fees) for boarding, daycare, and grooming will be clearly communicated at the time of booking. By booking a service, you agree to adhere to that specific cancellation policy.


3. Financial Terms and Payment



A. Pricing and Fees


  • Service prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking will be honored for that specific reservation.

  • Additional fees may apply for special services, administering medication, or veterinary transport if necessary.


B. Payment


  • Payment for all Services is due in accordance with the terms specified at the time of booking (e.g., upon drop-off, pick-up, or monthly invoicing for recurrent services).

  • We accept payment via methods specified on our Website and Customer Portal.


C. Late Pick-Up Policy


  • If a pet is not picked up by the scheduled time, late fees and/or additional boarding charges may be assessed. Specific details on late pick-up fees will be communicated by the staff.


4. Liability and Owner Responsibility



A. Pet Health and Emergencies


  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your pet’s health, temperament, and medical history.

  • In the event of a medical emergency, you authorize Wags & Whiskers of the Wiregrass and its staff to seek necessary veterinary care for your pet at a designated veterinarian or the closest available facility. You agree to be responsible for all related veterinary costs.


B. Pet Belongings


  • While we take reasonable care of your pet's belongings (e.g., toys, bedding, food), Wags & Whiskers of the Wiregrass is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items left with the pet during their stay.


C. Personal Injury and Damage


  • You understand and agree that the nature of pet care involves inherent risks. You agree that Wags & Whiskers of the Wiregrass, its employees, or agents shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or death of your pet unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.

  • You remain liable for any injury or property damage caused by your pet to our employees, other pets, or the facility property.


5. Website Use and Intellectual Property



A. License to Use Website


  • The content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and video (including links to camera feeds), is owned by or licensed to Wags & Whiskers of the Wiregrass and is subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the Website without our express written permission.


B. Live Camera Feeds


  • Live camera feeds are provided as a convenience to clients with pets utilizing specific services.

  • You are granted a non-transferable, revocable license to view the feeds for personal, non-commercial use only. Sharing, recording, or public dissemination of these feeds is strictly prohibited and may result in the termination of your access and services.


6. Governing Law


These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding relating to your access to, or use of, the Website or Services shall be instituted in the state or federal courts located in Houston County, Alabama.


7. Modifications to the Terms


We reserve the right to revise and amend these Terms at any time. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. Your continued use of the Website and Services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
